Anti-dumping duties ranging from 2% to 151% are imposed on chloroprene rubber originating in Japan, the United States, the European Union and other countries and regions.
After the anti-dumping lawsuit was won, Changshou Chemical invested a further 360 million yuan in the past five years to implement a circular economy, energy-saving and emission reduction, and an annual increase of approximately 63.55 million in benefits, which achieved a good harvest of environmental, social, and economic benefits. By 2008, the company’s profits exceeded 100 million yuan, and its employees’ annual per capita income exceeded 20,000 yuan.
