At the beginning of 2006, Daqing Drilling Technology Co., Ltd. officially started the research of this technology. In the past two years, it has tested more than 500 drill collars (more than 1000 internal and external threads). At the same time of a large number of on-site inspections, the fatigue source detection signal was detected multiple times, the repetition rate was 100%, and the mechanical properties of the drill material were tested.
In order to ensure the reliability of the research, the company also tracked the drilled tools, and as of now, these drills have no quality problems. Through theoretical analysis and field practice, the company summarized and developed a special oil drilling tool thread stress fatigue detection method and testing process, and developed a stress evaluation software. Applying this evaluation software to stress fatigue assessment of oil drilling tool threads, the accuracy rate is over 96%, and the fatigue fracture success rate of drilling tools is also over 96%.
