Kunming Haikou Industrial Park Gravity creates 7 major industries such as optical instruments

It was learned from the management committee of Kunming Haikou Industrial Park that the overall planning of the new town of the park was initially completed. According to the conceptual plan, Kunming Haikou Industrial Park will focus on building seven major industrial zones within the scope of the 174.34 square kilometers plan, and move toward a new industrialized city with phosphorus-based chemicals, optical-mechanical-mechanical-electronics, and tourism services as its leading industries.

It is understood that the preparation of the master plan for the new town of Kunming Haikou Industrial Park is an important part of the park's work in 2010. This work was entrusted by the Park Management Committee to the Suzhou Institute of Space Design Institute.

According to the preliminary shaping of the conceptual plan, the 7 major industrial areas are optical instrument area, electromechanical chemical area, machinery manufacturing area, food and drug area, tourism and leisure area, residential area, and ecological protection area. Among them, the optical instrument area is based on Yunnan Optical Instrument Factory, with a planning area of ​​500 mu; the electromechanical chemical film area mainly introduces electromechanical processing, chemical and other series of industries with a planned area of ​​7.4 square kilometers; the mechanical manufacturing area is based on Yunnan Xiyi Industrial Co., Ltd. The planning area is 1200 mu. The food and medicine area mainly develops the food and pharmaceutical industry with a planned area of ​​3,000 mu. The tourism and leisure area is located along the west of the Gaohai Highway and focuses on the development of tourism, sports and leisure industries and tourism real estate. The residential area is based on the actual situation in Haikou. The development of affordable housing, the appropriate development of part of the high-end landscape residential; ecological protection area for the high sea along the highway along the sea and the surrounding mountains and other limited construction, prohibited areas.

The relevant person in charge of the Kunming Haikou Industrial Park Management Committee stated that the 7-district planning is based on the existing industrial base, aiming at giving full play to the comparative advantages of the old industrial base and the resource advantages within the region, highlighting the characteristics of the industry, and accelerating the development of a new industrialization carrying platform.
