As of the end of May, the enterprises above designated size in the industry achieved a total output value of 744.96 billion yuan this month, a record high for the year, a year-on-year increase of 37.7%, exceeding the national gross industrial output growth rate by 5.4 percentage points, and accounting for 12.7% of the country's total industrial output value. The same period last year increased by 0.5 percentage points. Among them, the new product output value of 38.67 billion yuan, an increase of 39.7%. From January to May, the total output value of the industry was 3,324.544 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43.6%. The output value of new products was 183.213 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 57%.
In May, the overall price level of the oil and chemical industry continued to increase slowly, but the price growth rate of the oil and gas exploration industry continued to slow down, and the fluctuation range of the petrochemical market increased. Statistics show that in May, the total price level of the whole industry rose by 24.2% year-on-year, an increase of 0.5 percentage points from April. Among them, the price of petroleum and natural gas extraction industry increased by 58.7%, a decrease of 0.67 percentage points from April and 12.3 percentage points from the first quarter; prices of petroleum processing and chemical industry rose by 29.3% and 7.4% year-on-year, respectively, and increased by 0.5 and 0.5% respectively from April. 0.6%. In May, the sales rate of petroleum and chemical industry products was 97.57%, which was a year-on-year increase of 0.35 percentage points and a decrease of 1.6 percentage points from the previous month.
