Common troubleshooting methods for nozzle flowmeters

The nozzle flowmeter has a simple structure, no empty object inside the sensor, no additional resistance loss, durable and anti-wear, and can maintain high enough measurement accuracy for a long time. Combined with the intelligent secondary instrument, it can be used as a metering instrument. High precision, this feature is especially suitable for the measurement welding installation method of process flow and control flow, ensuring that the elbow sensor has no leakage for a long time, and the safe operation has low requirements on the straight pipe section, which is very convenient to use in a narrow device, and the applicability is strong and different. With the material of the elbow and the appropriate geometry, the flowmeter can be adapted to the flow measurement of most process media and process conditions in the alkali system.

Nozzle flowmeter exhaust air valve method:

1. If air is metered with other non-condensable gases and steam, the number displayed by the flow meter does not reflect the actual steam usage.

2. If the water tank of the steam system, such as the water in the deaerator, has not been physically or chemically treated, the mixing ratio of steam and air may be above 80/20, which may cause the error of the measurement result to exceed 20%.

3. The automatic venting valve separates the steam from the steam/air mixture according to the temperature. The temperature of the pure steam is much higher than the temperature of the steam/air mixture. When it is at the steam temperature, the automatic venting valve The disc will expand and the valve must be closed to prevent steam from passing through.

4. When the temperature is lower than the saturated steam temperature, the disc will shrink, and at the same time open the valve to discharge the steam/air mixture gas out of the system. The automatic air discharge valve should be installed before the pipeline of the steam flow meter. The electric field should take certain measures to reduce the interference or strengthen the shielding of the signal line.

The sensor output signal is unstable when the nozzle flowmeter is in normal flow:

1. There is irregular vibration in the pipeline. Find vibration sources, eliminate pipe vibrations, or dampen process lines.

2. The amplification board gain is incorrect. Use the oscilloscope to check the waveform of the output signal. If there are multiple waveforms and lost waveforms, the amplifier board is not working properly. The multi-waveform indicates that the gain is too large. The lost waveform indicates that the gain is too small. The gain of the amplifier board can be adjusted appropriately.
