The National Development and Reform Commission released the "2008 Industry Standard Project Plan" on June 17. According to the plan, the petroleum and chemical industries will formulate or revise 405 industry standards in the next two years.
It is understood that a total of 1761 industry standards were included in the "2008 Industry Standard Project Plan." Among them, there are 1,143 product standards, 386 basic, methodological, and management standards, 66 energy conservation and emission reduction and safety standards, 114 project construction standards, and 52 standard samples. 850 industry standards need to be developed and 911 industry standards need to be revised. There are 178 industry standards that will adopt international standards and foreign advanced standards.
The oil and chemical industry has a total of 405 industrial standards listed in the “2008 Industry Standard Project Plan”, including 151 oil and natural gas industry standards, 57 petrochemical industry standards, and 179 chemical industry standards.
The reporter learned that the formulation or revision of energy-saving and emission-reducing industry standards has become the focus of this industry standard-setting work. This year, the oil and natural gas industry will complete the "Economy Evaluation Method for Energy-Efficiency Technical Projects of Oil Enterprises", "Determination of Crude Oil Loss", "Revision of the Main Energy Consumption Quota Classification Method for Oilfield Production," and "Pollutary Ash Emissions and Comprehensive Utilization of Petroleum Enterprises. "Technical Specifications", "Guidelines for Cleaner Production Auditing in the Oil and Gas Exploitation Industry", "Technical Code for Recovery of Oil and Gas Produced Water for Ecological Water Use," and "Guidelines for Cleaner Production of Oil and Gas Exploitation Industry." The chemical industry will complete the formulation of "Energy Audit of Chemical Companies", "Energy Audit of Petrochemical Enterprises", "Code for Energy-Saving Design of Chlor-Alkali Enterprises", and "Code for Environmental Protection of Chemical Enterprises". In 2009, the petrochemical industry will complete the revision of the "Guidelines for the Rational Use of Energy in the Petrochemical Industry" and "Statistical Indicators and Calculation Methods for the Energy Consumption of the Petrochemical Industry (Refining and Ethylene)" and "Petrochemical Enterprises (Ethylene, Polyester, and Fine-to-Benzene) Formic Acid) Cleaner Production Evaluation Index System.
