In order to identify (isopropyl) thiourethane and brass ore pyrite and mechanism of B, with a radioactive isotope S 35 to Minamata (isopropoxy) ethyl and isopropyl xanthate thiourethane, do test. The experiment indicated that (isopropyl) ethionine adsorbed pyrite by 3-4 times lower than that of isopropyl xanthate, which fully explained the reason why (isopropyl) ethionine has low ability to capture pyrite. And because (isopropyl) ethionine on the surface of pyrite can be washed off with water. It can be seen from Figure 1 that the pyrite-adsorbed (isopropyl) ethionate can be completely removed, while the xanthate remains firmly on the mineral surface. The xanthate and (isopropyl) ethionate on the surface of the chalcopyrite were washed four times with water under the same conditions. The two collectors were strongly adsorbed on the mineral surface, and only a small portion was washed away. This illustrates the difference between the two collectors for yellow iron flotation. That is to say, (isopropyl) ethionyl ester is physically adsorbed to pyrite, and xanthate is chemically adsorbed to pyrite, and both collectors are chemically adsorbed to chalcopyrite.

Figure 1 At ph=8, the concentration of the collector agent on the surface of the pyrite is desorbed by water washing 50 mg/L.
