The water flow in the jigging chamber is approximately sinusoidal. In order to eliminate excessive suction, a supplementary water pipe is provided under the diaphragm, and the rotating valve is passed through the water separator to supply water only when the water flow in the jigging chamber is lowered. However, the examination showed that the water flow could not be accurately and timely supplemented due to the rapid rotation of the flap, which was basically the same as the continuous addition.
The device structure is simple, in China's large, medium and small tungsten, tin and rare metal ore mines were used. The maximum particle size of the ore feeding can reach 12~18 mm, the lower limit of the recovery particle size is 0.1 mm, and the ore needs to be sieved and classified before being selected.

This machine is similar to the American Pan American Placer type or the former Soviet Union Mеханоσр structure. It has a conical movable cone bottom under the two series of jigging chambers. A frame is moved up and down by an eccentric mechanism. Since the diaphragm is arranged in the lower part of the machine body, the equipment has a small footprint and the water velocity distribution on the screen surface is relatively uniform. The main disadvantage is that it is not convenient to replace the diaphragm and overhaul the transmission. It is mainly used to treat tungsten, tin and antimony ore in China. The ore size is mostly less than 10 mm (up to 18 mm). Table 1 lists examples of operational data for several ores.
b JT2—1070×1070 Rectangular Jig This machine is designed and manufactured for the selection of gold deposits. It was certified in 1982. The structure of the device is shown in Figure 8. The movement of the conical diaphragm makes the displacement curve of the water flow into a sawtooth waveform, which can save water, save energy and improve the recovery rate of fine-grained grade. The selected recovery rate of gold during the trial production period was over 97%. The machine can also adjust the speed without stopping the machine. The operating conditions of the equipment are shown in Table 2.
