Recently, a silicon-isolated high-temperature pressure sensor capable of resisting 2000°C instantaneous ultra-high temperature impact was successfully developed at Xi'an Jiaotong University Precision Engineering Research Institute.

Experts believe that the completion of this national "863" project will effectively solve the technical problems of pressure measurement under high temperature environment and sensor failure under transient high temperature impact in China's aerospace, petrochemical, automotive industry and other fields, breaking the foreign similar products. The monopoly of China's sensor market has improved the overall level and international competitiveness of China's industry, and has a high promotion and use value.

According to reports, conventional silicon pressure sensors can only measure pressure below 120 °C. When the temperature exceeds 120 °C, the performance of the sensor will be seriously deteriorated and will fail. Conventional measurement methods and methods cannot meet the increasingly high measurement accuracy requirements in the pressure measurement and automation fields in high temperature and other harsh environments, resulting in the long-term dependence of China's high temperature pressure sensor products on imports.

The high temperature resistant pressure sensor developed by Xi'an Jiaotong University can measure the pressure in the environment of -30 °C ~ 250 °C, can complete the pressure measurement in any range below 1000Mpa, and can withstand the instantaneous high temperature impact of 2000 °C. It can meet the pressure measurement under harsh environment such as high temperature, high pressure, high frequency noise and instantaneous high temperature impact. It has independent intellectual property rights and fills many domestic blanks in this field. It promotes the development of China's instrumentation industry and cultivates new economy. The point of growth is important.
