The research and development capabilities of China's food ultrahigh-pressure processing technology and equipment have entered the world's advanced ranks. The quality deterioration and safety problems in the food processing process in China have occurred from time to time. There are also problems such as the lagging of key equipment, high energy consumption, and water consumption. The project has developed large-capacity ultra-high pressure sterilization equipment, high-efficiency energy-saving spray drying equipment, and general canned food products. 21 sets of new equipment such as high-temperature continuous sterilizing equipment and shellfish roller brush cleaning equipment; 8 production lines of high-tech products for engineering food such as solid fermentation production line for aquatic product processing by-products and UHP juice products; 203 papers published, Among them, 80 were published in SCI/EI and 6 monographs were published.

In addition, a breakthrough has been made in the uniformization of drying equipment and technology for foods with high energy efficiency. The project achieved a breakthrough in the homogenization technology of solid-state food high-efficiency microwaves in the mainstream of normal pressure and negative pressure, as well as the breakthrough of liquid foods in energy-efficient spray drying under micro-fluid conditions; and the development of uniform and efficient atmospheric and negative pressures. Microwave spray drying equipment, multi-line micro-jet spray drying equipment and other four sets of pilot equipment, established two pilot production lines, developed more than 20 dry products, designed and established an annual output of 300 tons of uniform high-efficiency fruit and vegetable production line.

At present, a number of key technologies of the project have broad prospects for industrialization. Ultra-high pressure sterilization technology, high-efficiency and energy-saving drying technologies have been industrialized and applied. At the same time, it has applied for 38 national invention patents (18 authorizations), 3 foreign invention patents (1 authorization), 2 national standards, 1 national second prize for scientific and technological advancement, and 1st class scientific and technological progress of the China Business Federation. One award, the international scientific and technological cooperation achievements won the People's Republic of China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award.
