[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] According to information from Hainan Power Grid Corporation, the “coordinated operation and control system for electric vehicles and power grids†developed by the company has been completed and put into test recently.
It is reported that the research and development work of this system is based on the research task of “coordinated operation technology of charging and discharging facilities and power grids of electric vehiclesâ€. The research mission was undertaken by Hainan Power Grid Corporation and was officially launched in 2013.
According to a researcher from Hainan Electric Power Research Institute, the “coordinated operation control system for electric vehicles and power grids†has synchronized the data of more than a hundred distributed charging piles, and also connected the operating data of some electric taxis and electric passenger cars. These data are uploaded to the “green line†APP independently developed by Hainan Power Grid, and the user can directly search the charging pile roadmap on the mobile phone. In addition, the control system can realize unified monitoring of the charging pile, grasp its operation status, and monitor and alert the status of the distribution transformer, orderly control the charging load, and help the staff to monitor and manage the electric vehicle charging facilities in real time.
The "coordinated operation and control system for electric vehicles and power grids" can also adjust the charging power of the charging piles according to the power peaking and valley time and reduce the operating costs. According to statistics, after the system was put into trial operation, the average daily charging cost was reduced by 0.1 yuan per degree, and the cost savings on that day was about 900 yuan.
Next, Hainan Power Grid Corporation plans to continue accelerating the construction of charging infrastructure for electric cars for electric vehicles. This year, two charging and replacement piles, intercity fast-filling stations and two public charging demonstration stations were constructed.
