When the same variety with different water content was stored at 30°C and 40°C, the germination rate varied significantly. After months, it cannot be planted. It can be seen that rice seeds with low water content are more resistant to storage. Therefore, for the rice seeds to be exported, the seed moisture content should be strictly controlled during storage, and it is better to control it at 11.0% or less.

The optimum temperature zone for the storage of pests is generally 25-32°C, and the fastest growth rate and the strongest breeding ability are within this temperature range. The high temperature zone for the cessation of breeding is generally between 45 and 48°C. Within this temperature range, the metabolic rate of pests increases rapidly, and the life activities are reduced, resulting in a hot coma. At this time, the worms undergo only anoxic metabolism. Such temperatures are For a long time, the worm will die. In this experiment, the conditions of 30°C are more conducive to the growth of pests. With the passage of time, the amount of pests gradually increased. After 3 months, the amount of live insects in each species reached 72 to 132, whereas the pests of Mianxiang 576 had only 5 Head, I do not know if it is the cause of the variety or other, need further study. At 40°C, the amount of live insects decreased with time, and by the end of the experiment, no live insects were found in all breeds. It can be seen that the sustained high temperature (above 40°C) is not conducive to the growth and development of the warehouse pests. The rate of germination decline at 30 °C is slow, but the growth of storage pests is fast, which is not conducive to the storage and transportation of seeds. Although it is not good for the growth of pests at 40°C, it has a great influence on the germination rate of the seeds and is not suitable for storage and transportation. In order to ensure the quality of the exported seeds, it is recommended that the seeds be fumigated and treated before the seeds are exported. During transportation, low-temperature refrigerated transport should be considered and low-temperature storage should be adopted after reaching the destination.
