Recently, American synthetic lubricants manufacturing company Royal Purple launched the new BioMax series of environmentally friendly lubricants (EAL) BioMax EAL gear oil. This lubricant will produce an ionic chain that adheres to the metal part and forms a synthetic film on the metal surface to improve the lubrication of the marine hydraulic transmission and maintain a longer lasting effect.
Royal Purple claims that its BioMax range of environmentally friendly lubricants meets all environmental standards and General Ship License (VGP) requirements imposed by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Royal Purple claims that all BioMax lubricants are manufactured by Royal Purple under various lubricant formulations and proprietary advanced additive technology Synerlec. This will ensure lubricant protection, making BioMax lubricants far exceed most synthetic and traditional environmentally friendly lubricants. Depending on the thickness and strength of the oil film, Synerlec will produce an ionic chain that adheres to the metal parts and forms a tough, smooth synthetic film on all metal surfaces to enhance lubrication and longer lasting results. BioMax lubricants will also replace humidity and avoid the harmful effects of rust, corrosion and heat from all metals. These effects will usually lead to oxidation.
It is reported that Royal Purple's BioMax EAL series lubricants are suitable for marine hydraulic systems and gears, as well as fin stabilizers, rudders, propellers, adjustable pitch propellers and Azipod electric propulsion systems.
